Birdie Bird Toys Packaging Design

With over 45 toys with diverse functions and forms. My design centred on ensuring pet owners could immediately grasp the joy and engagement these products would bring to their feathered companions.

Set against a dynamic red backdrop, the front of the packaging bursts with energy, anchored by the brand mascot that mirrors the playfulness of the toys. On the front I’ve listed the benefits to highlight the enrichment these toys provide—encouraging physical activity and mental stimulation through various colours and shapes designed to captivate a bird's interest.

Within my portfolio, this packaging sits alongside a spectrum of Birdie designs, including bird foot toys, rope rings, and other play items. Each design maintains brand consistency while celebrating the distinct features of the toys, whether they be for foot play, sensory engagement, or interactive fun. The packaging speaks to the depth of the Birdie range, from natural textures that appeal to instinctual behaviours to cleverly crafted toys that challenge and delight.

This series of designs illustrates my approach to packaging: to create an instant visual connection between the product and its purpose, blending clear, communicative design with a playful aesthetic that resonates with pet owners looking to enrich their birds' lives.
