Bioscape Inesctivore Fish Food

In the design of the Insectivore Tropical Flakes packaging for Bioscape, I sought to create a visual narrative that would resonate with the discerning aquarist, emphasizing the product's high-quality, multi-protein formula. Crafted in 2020, my goal was to meld the rich essence of the product with the practicality needed on the consumer shelf.

The colour scheme, led by a deep rich blue, represents the natural and premium ingredients, such as black soldier fly larva and mealworm meal. I chose to delineate the design into informative sections that communicate the product’s benefits clearly: from the detailed ingredient list to the nutritional advantages like immune system support and colour enhancement for fish.

I incorporated interactive elements into the packaging, like strategic cut-outs revealing holographic foil, to engage customers and convey a sense of premium quality. These design elements—around the brand logo and the fish-school around the product weight—were not only visually appealing but also closely tied to the product theme.

The packaging range, presented below, showcases the consistent application of the core design across different product sizes, ensuring a cohesive brand presentation. This uniformity was essential to create an easily recognizable product line that would stand out in a competitive market.

This project reflects my commitment to blending innovative design with clear communication, delivering a package that's as informative as it is appealing. The end result is a design that captures attention, informs the consumer, and ultimately, enhances the shelf presence of the Bioscape brand.
